PCB Layout Designer
Bloomington, MN — Contract Position Pay Estimated: $41.41-$46.41/Hour This estimate represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors, geographical location, etc. Contribute to a company at the forefront of mission-critical systems and technologies in defense and security. Responsibilities
Perform detailed layout design and documentation of printed circuit boards (PCBs) based on schematics, part lists, and system requirements. Collaborate with electrical and mechanical engineers to interpret board function, constraints, and physical configurations. Utilize the Siemens/Mentor Graphics Xpedition toolset:
Layout Valor (artwork checking) DRC Hazard Checker Constraint Editor/Constraint Manager (CES) Drawing Editor
Create and manage electronic library symbols, geometry, and footprints. Conduct Valor and DRC hazard checks to ensure design quality and compliance. Review and validate drawings to ensure conformance with project requirements and standard engineering drafting practices. Qualifications
U.S. Citizenship is required by Federal Law Associate’s degree or equivalent Minimum 5 years of relevant PCB layout experience Proficient in high-speed HDI PCB/wiring board design Strong knowledge of MIL and IPC standards Experienced with Siemens/Mentor Graphics Xpedition tools, including:
Xpedition Layout Valor CES (Constraint Editor System) Drawing Editor
