Job Title Community Donation Manager

Hourly Pay Range $18.20 to $23.00 per hour

Job Responsibilities Accountable for overall management and direction of the Community Donation Center (CDC) operations, ensuring fast, friendly, and respectful service to donors. You will manage donor relationships, promote brand awareness, and lead a team of CDC Ambassadors.

Donation Center Operations:

Maintain an organized, clean, safe, and welcoming CDC.

Coordinate donation flow from the CDC to the production room.

Engage customers and donors to promote the Savers brand.

Accurately weigh and classify donations.

Track and measure donation goals and results.

Schedule CDC Ambassadors using the CDC Scheduler and Daily Planner.

Utilize approved branded materials to promote the Savers brand.

Leverage the Voice of the Customer Program to improve donor satisfaction.

Perform CDC Ambassador duties as required.

Leadership and Development:

Lead, direct, and supervise CDC Ambassadors.

Plan staffing needs; recruit, select, and train new Ambassadors.

Coach, counsel, and provide feedback to Ambassadors.

Develop a culture of appreciation and authentic donor service.

Identify and develop high‑potential team members.

Maintain a respectful, values‑driven workplace and adhere to all policies.

Serve as an active member of the management team.

Donor Service:

Deliver a positive donor experience through training and coaching.

Continuously assess donor areas and guide team activity to meet standards.

Engage donors for feedback and respond to questions or complaints.

Educate all team members about the Savers brand and community impact.

Promote nonprofit partnership, joint brands, and community impact.

Drive company promotions and grassroots efforts inside/outside the store.

Partner with sourcing team for Fundrive events and community networking.

What You Have

Excellent presentation skills.

Mathematical skills.

Strong verbal and written communication.

Ability to observe, assess, and coach others.

Common sense decision‑making and independent judgment.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

Minimum Required Education, Training and Experience

High School diploma; post‑secondary degree or diploma preferred.

Experience managing people preferred.

Physical Requirements

Frequent lifting and carrying of products up to 5 lbs; occasional lifting up to 50 lbs.

Frequent reaching, inspecting, and handling merchandise.

Dexterity for complex hand‑eye tasks, including keyboarding and writing.

Standing, walking, stooping, bending, and twisting for extended periods.

Reading documents and responding to management and customer communication.

Exposure to heavy machinery, solvents, and varying temperatures.

Adjustable work schedule to accommodate nights, weekends, and holidays.

Safe navigation of industrial machinery and equipment.

FLSA Status Non‑Exempt

Travel Periodic travel to meetings or other stores for business purposes.
