Senior Staff Accountant
position supports procedures and objectives in international financial accounting where goals are to provide timely and accurate financial information to internal and external users, while maintaining internal controls over financial processes. Works with other departments, including FP&A, Treasury, Legal, and HR to gather information necessary for accurate accounting. The Senior Staff Accountant reports to the US Accounting Manager. Responsibilities
Take ownership of specific areas within the balance sheet, such as accrued liabilities Perform balance sheet account reconciliations Prepare or record journal entries including allocations calculation and some cross company entries Participate heavily in the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing processes according to GAAP Manage the accounting around payroll, royalties, professional fees, and workers compensation Deliver and meet deadlines according to internal, external, and government reporting requests Support the Accounting manager in internal and external audit review Responsible for ensuring compliance with documented accounting policies and Sarbanes-Oxley controls Participate in special projects as requested Shift

Staff Accountant Experience Requirements Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to work with cross functional departments Ability to work independently in a fast-paced work environment Ability to manage multi project deadlines Excellent verbal and written communication skills High proficiency with Microsoft applications is required Experience using an ERP system, SAP experience is a plus Ability to prioritize daily activities Ability to meet firm deadlines Education
Bachelor's or master's degree in accounting combined with 3-5 years of general accounting or corporate accounting experience within a public company or a large multi-national company - and on the CPA track. SAP experience a plus MS Office suite: Outlook, Excel, Word Remuneration & Benefits/ Other
