We are seeking a highly motivated and technically proficient Treasury Analyst to play a critical role in managing the company's liquidity, risk exposure, and working capital. The ideal candidate will be an analytical self-starter with a strong foundation in finance and a proven ability to build and automate financial models. A cornerstone responsibility of this role will be building, maintaining, and automating a robust 13-week direct cash flow forecast from scratch using Excel macros (VBA). This position directly impacts strategic decision-making and global operations.
Key Responsibilities:
13-Week Cash Flow Model Development: Design and build a 13-week rolling direct cash flow model from the ground up. This includes establishing inputs, defining assumptions, and validating outputs across all operational and financial streams.
Macro Automation: Utilize Excel Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) macros to automate data extraction, aggregation, reconciliation, and reporting processes within the cash flow model, significantly reducing manual effort and increasing accuracy.
Variance Analysis: Conduct detailed daily and weekly variance analysis comparing actual cash flow to forecast, identifying key drivers of deviations, and reporting insights to senior management.
This role will assist AP and AR is making payments to various vendors including M&A on boarding new companies.
Long-Range Forecasting: Support the annual budget and longer-term strategic financial planning processes by providing accurate cash flow inputs and liquidity projections.
Daily Liquidity Management: Manage daily cash position, optimize short-term borrowing/investment decisions, and ensure sufficient liquidity to meet operational needs.
Bank Relations: Manage banking relationships, administer bank accounts, and oversee the implementation of banking products and services (e.g., electronic funds transfers, wires, ACH).
Working Capital: Monitor and optimize working capital components, specifically supervising the daily reconciliation of Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP) processes to refine cash flow inputs.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related quantitative field.
Experience: 5+ years of hands‑on experience in a corporate treasury.
Technical Expertise (Mandatory): Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including the demonstrated ability to write, implement, and troubleshoot VBA macros for financial modeling and reporting automation.
Cash Flow Modeling: Proven, hands‑on experience building complex direct cash flow models (preferably 13-week rolling forecasts) from a foundation/scratch level.
