Job Overview

Retrieve medical records within department designated guidelines, this is one of the major job functions. Staff will need to attach medical records to claims, as well as a detailed itemized bill to support validity of charges. Organizational skills are crucial to the success of the support team, which includes dates and deadlines for filing claims. PFS support assistants requires strong knowledge of multiple systems such as Epic, DataArk, Rycan, PeopleSoft and OnBase. This ensures that all patient mail is retrieved and processed according to department processes. Responsibilities

Retrieve multiple types of documents such as medical records and EOBs from various systems within department guidelines. Process refund request from mutiple departments and teams with Fairview while using OnBase and PeopleSoft. Identify all incoming Itemized Detal Bill requests, and process them with accuracy within HIPAA guidelines. Capture all mail returns, and flag them to be processed in the automated mail return process. Review incoming documentation and process accounts from work queues for demographic changes, Itemized Bill requests, and any other work queue batches assigned. Required Qualifications

High School 2 years customer service experience Preferred Qualifications
