Universal Banker - Part Time (20 hrs.) - Langston & Old Dominion Join Truist as a Universal Banker on a part‑time basis. The main focus is to provide timely and efficient completion of client transactions while maintaining accurate records and ensuring a superior client experience.

Responsibilities

Provide a distinctive client experience ensuring a consistent service level by engaging clients with a smile, facilitating courteous conversation, conducting both complex and standardized transactions while uncovering client needs.

Educate clients on digital, self‑service solutions including ATMs, online and mobile banking to make banking easier and enhance their service experience.

Support team sales process by participating in client outreach through outbound calls, checking for client offers, and identifying client needs or opportunities.

Understand the importance of Integrated Relationship Management (IRM) to deliver Truist expertise and solutions for clients’ unique needs.

Participate fully in all components of the established Truist Retail Community Bank Leadership Routines.

Commit to ongoing product knowledge through sales, service and product knowledge meetings and applicable training.

Adhere to internal controls, operational procedures and risk management policies; stay informed of changes to remain compliant.

Serve as secondary contact for new account openings and problem resolution, offering applicable products and services to clients and prospects.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.

Two years of teller or cash handling or client service experience.

Six months of client relationship building or sales experience.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a desire to interact with clients and prospects.

Proficiency in personal computer (PC) keyboard and software skills necessary for branch automation.

Ability to multi‑task under time constraints.

Basic computer application skills, e.g., Microsoft Office.

Willingness and ability to travel for temporary staffing needs as required.

Ability to work weekends and/or extended hours with occasional travel and overnight stays.

Preferred Qualifications

One year of client relationship building or sales experience.

Knowledge of advanced or complex branch transactions, risk management and loss prevention.

Experience with sourcing and prospecting for new clients.

General understanding of bank operations, policies and procedures.

Compensation The hourly base salary for this position is $22.00/hour – $26.00/hour.
