About The Role Eagles Mere Country Club is seeking a dynamic, personable Lead Bartender to oversee our bar program and provide exceptional service to members and guests. This role blends hands-on bartending with leadership responsibilities, offering the opportunity to shape the beverage experience in a vibrant private club setting. As part of our Food & Beverage team, the Lead Bartender plays a key role in enhancing the member experience and supporting the club’s reputation for excellence. Responsibilities

Lead and manage the daily operations of the bar, ensuring a welcoming and engaging atmosphere.

Craft cocktails and serve beverages with creativity, accuracy, and professionalism.

Train, mentor, and support seasonal bartenders and service staff.

Manage bar inventory, including ordering, organization, and cost controls.

Collaborate with the Food & Beverage leadership team to develop drink menus and elevate the overall dining experience.

Ensure compliance with all safety, sanitation, and responsible alcohol service guidelines.

Qualifications

Minimum 3 years of bartending experience, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or lead role.

Strong knowledge of cocktails, wine, and spirits; mixology expertise a plus.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a member-focused mindset.

Ability to thrive in both a fast-paced summer season and quieter off-season.

Must be RAMP certified or willing to obtain certification prior to start date.

Prior experience in private clubs, resorts, or fine dining preferred.
