Position Overview We are currently seeking a Jr. Data Analyst to join our Utah team. The Jr. Data Analyst acts as a liaison between operations and department heads to develop and maintain data reporting across multiple business platforms to achieve overall business strategies. This role works closely with team leads and other members in several departments to support and implement new systems, building reports and dashboards in Power BI, Excel, and potentially other platforms. The position requires reporting out of our Heber or Provo, UT offices and is not remote.
Key Responsibilities
Assist with creating and maintaining business‑critical reports and Power BI dashboards.
Produce and maintain functional and technical documentation for platform reporting/dashboards.
Generate, organize, and report monthly reporting packets for organizational leadership.
Assist with various application data integrations utilizing corporate‑sponsored and approved integration tools and platforms.
Assist with developing and implementing strategies regarding holistic data management.
Deliver accurate, timely, and actionable reports to support business strategies and decision‑making.
Maintain thorough and accurate documentation of reporting systems and integrations.
Collaborate effectively with cross‑functional teams to implement new systems and processes.
Support continuous improvement efforts through data‑driven insights.
Qualifications
BS/BA degree in Data Analytics, Business Management, or a related field required.
1–2 years of experience working in data analytics.
Strong written and verbal communication skills; strong Microsoft Excel skills; experience with SQL, Power BI, and large datasets; knowledge of scripting, coding, and application software.
Demonstrated ability to organize information and processes logically and efficiently; high attention to detail.
Desired Experience
Knowledge and/or experience supporting HCSS Suite of Applications.
Experience with Microsoft Power BI.
Experience with API integrations.
Experience with JD Edwards ERP.
Experience working in the construction industry.
