Position Summary Provides member service by acknowledging the member and identifying member needs; offers guidance and support regarding self‑service technology; assists members with purchasing decisions; locates merchandise; resolves member issues and concerns; promotes the company’s products and services.
Assists management with the supervision of associates in the assigned area; assigns duties, communicates goals and feedback, and trains associates on processes and procedures. Provides direction and guidance to associates on member service approaches and techniques to ensure member complaints and issues are resolved according to company guidelines and compliance with company policies and procedures. Supports the Open Door Policy and participates in recruiting, hiring, scheduling, promoting, coaching, and evaluating associates.
Receives and stocks supplies and merchandise from distribution centers and vendors; organizes and maintains the sales floor using equipment and merchandising; completes paperwork logs and other required documentation according to company policies and procedures.
Maintains safety of the facility by conducting safety sweeps, following forklift and hazardous material handling procedures, and reporting unsafe situations to management.
Ensures maintenance of sales floor and merchandise presentation per company policies and procedures: handling claims and returns, zoning the area, stocking, arranging, and organizing merchandise; cleaning and organizing product displays; removing damaged goods; signing and pricing merchandise according to company policies; identifying shrink and damages; securing fragile and high‑shrink merchandise.
Monitors food and merchandise quality by ensuring product rotation, code dating, product recalls, and sanitation standards are followed. Oversees picking and staging of club pick‑up orders throughout the day. Develops, communicates, and implements processes and practices to meet business needs, collaborating with managers and other partners. Demonstrates and supports compliance with company policies, procedures, and ethics. Leads and participates in teams, using and sharing resources, information, and tools; provides advice, feedback, and support to achieve timelines and quality.
