Job Type Full‑time hybrid – Must live and travel 2‑5 days per week in the territory. Hours may vary based on customer needs; evenings and weekends may be required. Mostly local travel to schools and organizations within Loudoun, Fairfax, Prince William, and Frederick counties, with occasional out‑of‑area and overnight travel.
Responsibilities
Provide best‑in‑class consultative customer service to coaches across an assigned territory and do everything humanly possible to make their lives easier.
Generate revenue and meet sales/growth targets.
Actively develop and qualify leads within the territory to drive additional sales opportunities through cold‑calling and lead generation campaigns.
Show resilience to handle rejection and persistence to turn challenges into opportunities.
Navigate multiple functions within the company’s CRM, including prospecting, account management, and activity tracking to support sales and customer relationship efforts.
Increase sales in existing accounts by selling to all sports at all levels – ensuring each coach receives equal service.
Utilize data‑driven business intelligence on prospects to identify new trends and opportunities.
Manage your account list and travel on location within your assigned territory.
Qualifications
Demonstrate a high level of self‑direction and autonomy in managing tasks, projects, and responsibilities.
Must possess excellent problem‑solving, organizational, and multi‑tasking skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication abilities are essential.
Proficiently prioritize and manage tasks, demonstrating strong time‑management skills to meet deadlines and optimize overall efficiency.
Intermediate skill in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and CRM.
Cultivate an in‑home office environment that is distraction‑free.
Education & Experience
3+ years of B2B outside sales experience (preferably in sporting goods) or coaching/sports‑related background.
Associate’s degree or equivalent work experience; bachelor’s degree preferred.
Must have and maintain a reliable vehicle, valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and a satisfactory driving record.
Physical Requirements
Hybrid environment: prolonged periods of sitting, standing, bending, lifting, and driving will all occur on a regular basis.
Travel on assignment to schools, community events, and sports organizations.
