Provides instruction to post-secondary students in Business-related courses, both technical and general education, and other related activities.

Responsibilities
Provides instruction to post-secondary students in assigned content areas and developing related instructional materials (such as syllabus, lectures, course materials, evaluation tools, classroom activities, and others)
Maintains consistent Office Hours
Attends in-service meetings each semester
Evaluates and assesses student progress and clearly defines academic goals for student success
Participates in the department responsibilities of CEI
Participates in department planning and expansion
Evaluates and recommends purchases of equipment and supplies needed to meet program goals
Supports activities, events, ceremonies and other functions of CEI
Provides leadership within CEI and community in promoting the mission and goals of College
Participates in statewide, college-level, and program-level planning and curriculum development
Serves as an advisor with a student organization, committees or boards
Performs other job-related duties as assigned
Qualifications
Ability to teach at assigned time to meet student needs
Willingness to develop and teach online classes
Ability to effectively motivate students to learn
Ability to work with other faculty to promote collaboration
Master's degree in Business, Management or a related subject
Incumbent must reside in Idaho (Currently CEI doesn’t sponsor H-1B Visas)
Teaching experience at college level
Doctorate in core subject area
Bilingual (Spanish)
Experienced online instructor
Physical Demands and Work Environment Employees work indoors and are protected from weather and/or contaminants, but not necessarily occasional temperature changes. The employee is regularly required to sit and often uses repetitive hand motions.
Onsite work is essential and regular predictable attendance is required. Employees may be required to work at occasional events and handle tasks outside of regular working hours.
Background Investigations Employment at College of Eastern Idaho will be contingent upon the successful completion of a criminal background investigation and may require a credit and/or motor vehicle background investigation depending on the position. Please refer to Policy 225: Background Checks
