About The Role The
Senior Inside Sales Representative
is a key driver of revenue and customer growth at Polymershapes. In this highly visible and strategic role, you’ll serve as a trusted advisor to new and existing accounts—consulting on tailored plastic solutions and leading sales efforts to grow market share in your territory. You’ll represent an unmatched portfolio of high‑performance plastics brands, backed by Polymershapes’ industry‑leading service and fulfillment capabilities.
What You’ll Do
Build and maintain strong customer relationships, loyalty, and retention through exceptional sales and service
Generate quotes, process orders, and follow‑up with customers after orders close to ensure utmost satisfaction
Provide information regarding our products and services to inquiring customers
Identify new business opportunities through outbound prospecting, existing account development, and industry networking
Collaborate with office and warehouse team members to confirm that orders are processed with accuracy and efficiency
Work in concert with the outside sales force to proactively increase market share
Assist with inventory management based on customer needs
Perform other duties as assigned
What You’ll Need
Strong consultative selling skills with a customer‑first approach
Self‑starter mindset with a high level of accountability and drive for results
Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship‑building abilities
Strong business writing skills and verbal communication skills
Excellent computer skills (CRM, ERP, Microsoft Office)
Positive, enthusiastic attitude with an eagerness to learn and grow
Ability to thrive in an active, team‑selling environment where priorities frequently change
High level of honesty and integrity
High School Diploma or GED required
(Preferred) BA or BS Degree (Business, Sales, Marketing, etc.) or substantial equivalent business experience
(Preferred) Plastics/industrial distribution experience
(Preferred) 1 year or more of commercial experience
