Job Description

Chief Estimator – Commercial Construction

Hybrid Role! - 3 days a week in Atlanta, GA office

A well-established general contractor is seeking a Chief Estimator to lead the estimating team for commercial projects across the region. This is a full-time leadership role with strong growth opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the full estimating and bid process from start to finish
• Review bid opportunities, proposals, and subcontractor coverage
• Develop and deliver complete proposals and budgets to clients
• Provide conceptual estimates, budgets, and CPM schedules
• Ensure all project documents, RFIs, and bid forms are accurate and timely
• Attend pre-bid site visits and respond to client questions
• Oversee multiple estimates at once, prioritizing effectively under deadlines

What We’re Looking For:

• 5+ years of experience with a commercial general contractor
• Degree in Construction Management or Engineering (not required)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; Bluebeam and PlanGrid a plus
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organization
• Ability to manage multiple bids simultaneously and work well under pressure
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
