A community services organization in New York City is looking to add a licensed Speech Therapist to join their team at one of their preschools in Pelham. In this role, the Speech Therapist (SLP) will be responsible for assessing student's motor skills and developing & implementing goals designed to enhance the student's learning potential.

8am to 2:30pm Patient Population:
Pediatric IDD (Age 3-5) Responsibilities: Conduct screenings and evaluations of communication and feeding/swallowing skills as needed and during intake evaluations and screenings Complete annual review evaluations and updates Develop and implement individualized therapy programs based on each child's unique needs in alignment with school philosophy and best practices Utilize evidence-based and state-of-the-art techniques Participate in all aspects of the interdisciplinary treatment team, including but not limited to formal and informal team meetings Consult with related service providers, teachers, and parents Maintain and submit clinical documentation accurately and within required time frames, including evaluation and screening reports and daily log notes Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications: Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology (New graduates are welcome!) NYS Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) license New York State Teacher of Speech and Hearing Handicapped (TSHH) or Teacher of Students with Speech and Language Disabilities (TSSLD) certification
