lumberyard in St. George, UT

is seeking a

driven and experienced Outside Sales Representative

to join our team. This role is ideal for a sales professional with a

strong background in truss sales

who understands the residential and light commercial construction market in Southern Utah.

What You'll Do: Build and manage a portfolio of builders, contractors, and remodelers throughout the region Drive sales of trusses, framing lumber, engineered wood, and related structural building components Conduct jobsite visits, provide takeoffs, and offer product recommendations to meet customer needs Collaborate with internal teams including design, estimating, and dispatch to ensure accurate and timely delivery Identify new business opportunities and build long-term relationships in a competitive market Maintain up-to-date knowledge of product lines, market trends, and customer projects

What Were Looking For: Minimum 2 years of truss sales experience

(required) Proven background in outside sales within the building materials or construction industry Strong understanding of wood components, framing systems, and structural building materials Excellent communication, negotiation, and follow-up skills Self-motivated and organized with the ability to manage your own schedule Familiarity with local builders and contractors in Southern Utah is a plus
