Overview of Responsibilities -

Monitors workflow of count process to ensure that the count is done quickly, courteously and accurately, with minimal disruption to customers. Oversees Slot and Table Games drop, along with the drop count of dealer's gratuities. Ensures that all casino service and operating standards are consistently met. Ensures compliance with federal, state and local regulations.

Essential Job Duties -

Count Room Attendant Responsibilities -

Collects bills and ticket vouchers from slot machines in accordance with established procedures. Interacts courteously with customers during the collection of bills and tickets on the casino floor. Operates count room equipment in a highly secure environment. Complies with all rules and operating procedures to ensure the security and integrity of the count room operation. Performs all other duties as assigned. Count Room Supervisor Responsibilities -

Oversees the quality of service provided by count room attendants. Oversees the daily operation of the count room function. Prepares employee work schedules and ensures that there is appropriate staffing to complete count room activities on a daily basis. Reconciles the count summary report. Ensures the security and integrity of the count room operation and remains in full compliance with gaming regulations. Submits purchasing requests in a timely fashion to ensure the department maintains an appropriate level of inventory to function properly at all times. Evaluates and maintains the equipment and condition of the count room, to ensure that the operation functions effectively and efficiently at all times. Also, has the capability to fix minor equipment problems. Develops and enforces policies and procedures to ensure compliance with state regulations and to ensure that internal control systems are in place. Assists in the hiring and training of Count Room Attendants. Evaluates performance of all direct reports, and documents both positive and constructive feedback. On request, analyze departmental job descriptions for relevance and effectiveness. Performs all other duties as assigned.

Qualifications - High School Diploma or G.E.D. required. At least 5 years of prior experience in a count room or related experience. Must have excellent teamwork skills and strong math skills. Must be able to lift, bend, kneel, stand, walk, carry weight and grip tools for a full 8 hour shift. Must be able to work all shifts, and weekends/holidays as required. Must be able to comprehend spoken English.
