Job Title: Production / Post-Production Product Owner
Duration: 12+ Months contract with extension
Location: Culver City, CA (Onsite on every Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday)
Role Summary: We are seeking a Senior Production / Post-Production Product Owner to support high-visibility initiatives within TV+ and related content operations. This role is not a traditional SDLC Product Owner but focuses on business-side workflows, spanning Production and Post-Production environments. The ideal candidate brings strong problem-solving ability, excellent communication skills, and can work independently with minimal supervision to deliver operational and workflow solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Act as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams for Production and Post-Production workflows. Drive requirements gathering and translate complex operational needs into clear, actionable user stories, documentation, and process improvements. Manage multiple projects simultaneously across diverse stakeholder groups in fast-paced production environments. Lead enhancements and ongoing updates to existing workflow tools (e.g., Retool, Airtable, or similar configuration-based applications). Partner with business stakeholders to identify gaps, define problems, and proactively propose workflow or tooling solutions. Support the configuration and optimization of data interfaces and process layers without requiring deep engineering involvement. Ensure smooth cross-functional communication across creative, technical, and business operations teams.
Qualifications:
8+ years of experience as a Product Owner, Program Manager, or Project Manager within media production, post-production, or entertainment operations. Strong experience documenting workflows, authoring user stories, and managing deliverables across multiple stakeholder groups. Proven ability to problem-solve independently and translate vague requirements into structured solutions. Familiarity with Airtable, Retool, or similar workflow/configuration platforms. Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to lead whiteboard sessions and stakeholder discussions confidently. Deep understanding of Production and Post-Production processes, including asset tracking, approvals, metadata, and content delivery pipelines.
Preferred / Bonus Skills:
Experience building or managing tools related to Camera pipelines or media ingestion workflows. Exposure to AI/ML-driven tools or automations in content production environments. Background working with Apple TV+, streaming, or creative operations teams.

Pay Range: $70/hr. to $80/hr.
