Role Overview

The Warranty Outage Manager is responsible for overseeing and coordinating scheduled and unscheduled maintenance outages for all projects under warranty. Primary execution times are concentrated in the spring and fall windows. This position plays a key role in developing and managing outage schedules, ensuring alignment across multiple projects, and maintaining a fleet-level view of all ongoing warranty activities. This role requires strong scheduling, coordination, and communication skills to support pre-outage planning, safety plans, resource loading, as needed successful execution of warranty services. The Warranty Outage Manager works with Field Service, Project Management, and Customer teams to ensure that all warranty obligations are met with quality, safety, and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

1. Outage Scheduling & Planning Develop and maintain detailed schedules for all warranty-phase outages, ensuring fleet-level alignment and optimal resource use. Define scope for warranty outage scope including safety plans and requirements, labor and cost estimates, vendor contracts, and logistics in partnership with the Warranty Program Manager. 2. Field Coordination & Execution

Lead coordination with Project Managers, Field Service teams, vendors, and customers to execute planned and forced outages on time and within budget. Travel to customer sites as needed for outage planning meetings, outage oversight, real-time troubleshooting, and communication with customers for warranty outage plans. Manage internal resources and subcontracted labor to meet evolving outage requirements. 3. Resource & Supply Management

Collaborate with Supply Chain and other departments to secure tools, equipment, and materials to support outage execution. Coordinate resource planning to execute required scopes for internal and subcontracted resource allocations. 4. Performance Tracking & Continuous Improvement

Monitor outage schedule and financials, updating schedules and forecasts to meet key milestones and budget targets. Conduct post-outage reviews to capture lessons learned, improve safety, efficiency, and cost controls. Produce regular performance reports and recommend process enhancements across the warranty portfolio. 5. Technical Support & Governance

Provide technical guidance and resolve issues during planning and execution phases, working cross functionally with engineering support teams as required. Mentor new Project Managers and Field Engineers on scheduling methods and outage-management best practices. Enforce safety protocols, quality standards, confidentiality requirements, and company policies. 6. Team Engagement & Company Goals

Communicate effectively with all organizational levels, fostering collaboration and a positive team culture. Support departmental objectives and undertake additional duties as required to ensure successful warranty services. Requirements

This role is based at the Headquarters in Lake Mary, FL expected to be in the office min 3 - 4 days / week unless traveling to customer sites. Bachelor's degree (BS) in Engineering, Construction Management or related field from four-year college or university; and five (5+) years of related experience or ten (10+) years related experience in an EPC environment and experienced in planning/scheduling of power generation, industrial or EPC projects or equivalent combination of education and experience. Must have strong understanding of Combined Cycle Gas Turbine outage planning and estimation and budgeting. Knowledge of resource loading scheduling software for project management scheduling applications database, project management, spreadsheet and word processing software, electronic mail, graphics, technical diagrams, flow charts, etc. Comply with all EHS policies and procedures, including reporting of unsafe activities to EHS & HR. Communicate effectively with staff and management at all levels. Always maintain the highest degree of honesty and integrity. Participate in proactive team efforts to achieve departmental and company goals. Protect confidential information by not communicating, disclosing to, or using for the benefit of 3rd parties. Work in the global environment to maintain and update standards and latest practices. Maintain a valid passport and driver's license. Perform other such duties as may be required. Up to 20 - 30% travel required both domestically as well as internationally. Physical & Safety Requirements
