Description of Work Position, working with supervisor and leadership team, will work to make sure all state purchasing procedures are followed and all purchases for the park that need implementation in the e-procurement system are completed. Position will assist in maintaining all records for the inventory of the park and for retail. Working with supervisor and budget office will verify daily income reports and send them to state budget. Position will assist in any administrative needs for the Executive Director and Leadership team. Position, at times, can be one of the primary contacts for our visitors whether calling for information, working in Sales or greeting our visitors in Administration.

Experience in working with spreadsheets, databases, financial management systems and/or Microsoft software. Experience working with retail and Point of Sale software. Experience with the operation of various office equipment. Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Research and support purchases for the park following state purchasing and implementation of purchases through e-procurement. Work with supervisor and leadership team to maintain inventory records for the park through purchasing and maintain retail inventory through the Point of Sale (POS) system. Daily balancing and data entry for all deposits completed for the park. Support the sales department selling tickets and merchandise. Maintain office supplies and all office equipment. Work with supervisor and leadership team for any projects needing administrative support. Position/Physical Requirements:
Must be able to follow policies and procedures as set by the State of NC pertaining to purchasing and inventory for the park. Must be available to work the schedule of Monday - Friday 8:30a.m. - 5:30 p.m. with occasional holidays and weekends required.

Roanoke Island Festival Park is a 27-acre site. First opening in 1983 with the "Elizabeth II", a 16th century replica sailing vessel, a visitor/ticket sales center, offices, and a 50-seat auditorium. In 1998 an expansion project was completed, adding an 8,500 sq.ft. Adventure Museum; a 240-seat film/small performance indoor theatre; 3,000 sq.ft. meeting room; an outdoor performance pavilion with lawn seating for 3,500; a museum store; administrative offices; maintenance facilities; waterside boardwalks; and a public Kayak Launch.

The Division of State Historic Sites was established to coordinate administration of the Department of Natural and Cultural Resources' State Historic Sites Program, which includes 27 historic sites across North Carolina and Division
