Position Summary

The Product Control Stockroom Attendant is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory of materials, components, and finished goods within the stockroom to support daily production and shipping operations. This role ensures that all items are properly received, stored, organized, and issued to the appropriate departments in a timely manner. The attendant maintains stock accuracy through careful tracking in the ERP system and helps prepare materials for internal use and external shipment as needed.

This position interacts regularly with employees across Production, Quality, Administration, and other departments to ensure the smooth flow of materials throughout the facility. The attendant will also assist in preparing shipments, replenishing stockroom supplies, and may be cross trained in other areas to support broader warehouse functions.

Minimum Qualifications

Education: High school diploma or GED preferred Experience:

1-2 years of experience in a manufacturing, warehouse, or stockroom environment preferred Knowledge:

Basic understanding of inventory control Familiarity with ERP or inventory management systems for tracking and recording transactions General knowledge of workplace safety and proper handling of materials and equipment Skills:

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite Knows how to operate inventory software to maintain records, input data, and create reports Good organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to accurately sort, count, and verify items received Job Responsibilities

Receives, inspects, and stores incoming materials, ensuring items are labeled and placed in proper stockroom locations Issues raw materials and components to production personnel based on work orders and production schedules Monitors stock levels and communicates shortages or discrepancies to the appropriate personnel Accurately records material movements and inventory transactions in the ERP system to maintain up-to-date records Prepares and stages products for outbound shipments, assisting with packaging and documentation as needed Maintains stockroom organization, cleanliness, and safety standards, replenishing supplies such as boxes and pallets Supports periodic cycle counts and full inventory audits to ensure data accuracy Collaborates with other departments such as Production, Quality, and Administration to fulfill material requests and maintain continuous production flow

Other responsibilities, initiatives and ad-hoc projects as required.

Physical Requirements

While performing duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, sit, and talk or hear. The employee must lift and/or move up to fifty (50) pounds. The employee must crouch, stoop, or reach. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
