The Budd Group is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented
Part-Time Janitorial General Cleaner
to join our team in the Chapel Hill area. This position involves cleaning and sanitizing a school facility after school hours. This is an excellent opportunity for someone seeking consistent, evening work.
Responsibilities:
Perform general cleaning duties in a school setting, including classrooms, hallways, restrooms, offices, and common areas. Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors. Empty trash receptacles and replace liners. Clean and sanitize restrooms, including sinks, toilets, and replenishing supplies. Dust furniture, window sills, and other surfaces. Clean glass and entrance doors. Follow all safety protocols and use cleaning chemicals properly and safely. Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the supervisor. Qualifications:
Proven experience in janitorial, custodial, or general cleaning is preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate. Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work the consistent evening schedule of Monday - Friday, 5:00 PM - 9:00 PM. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Must be able to pass a background check as required for working in a school environment. Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, lift (up to 25 lbs), and perform cleaning tasks for the duration of the shift. Benefits:
