Manager of Sample Management
to join a leading clinical research organization dedicated to driving innovation in diagnostic medicine. This is an
onsite
role, in
White Plains, NY . This full-time role offers an opportunity to lead the coordination, oversight, and optimization of clinical trial sample handling processes to ensure compliance, integrity, and timely support of research objectives.
Responsibilities of the Manager of Sample Management include:
Oversee daily operations of the sample management team, ensuring accurate handling, storage, tracking, and distribution of clinical trial samples. Lead and develop team members through mentoring, training, and performance management to maintain high standards and protocol adherence. Collaborate cross-functionally with clinical and laboratory teams to align sample management practices with study protocols and regulatory requirements. Implement and refine workflows for sample labeling, tracking, storage, and shipment to ensure timely and compliant processing. Ensure regulatory compliance with GCP, GLP, and other applicable standards, while managing inventory and coordinating secure sample shipments.
Qualifications for the Manager of Sample Management include:
Bachelor’s degree in life sciences, laboratory management, or a related field, with substantial experience in clinical research sample management. Demonstrated expertise in sample logistics, including handling, storage, and shipment, with a strong grasp of regulatory standards (e.g., GCP, GLP). Proven leadership skills, with experience managing and developing high-performing sample management teams. Strong organizational and project management abilities, with a track record of coordinating sample workflows across multiple studies. Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a detail-oriented and proactive approach to maintaining sample integrity and compliance.
Compensation for the Manager of Sample Management:
Salary Range: $68,000-$85,000 USD/year Comprehensive Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, sick leave if required by law, and 401K
