Who We’re Looking For

We are looking for an enthusiastic and self‑motivated part‑time Phlebotomy Technician Lead Instructor to join our team. We are interested in candidates who are looking to work for a company that is passionate about changing lives and helping build the essential workforce! The Phlebotomy Technician Programs run for 3‑12 weeks. Applicants must be available during the following schedule:

  • Monday through Thursday from 9 am – 1 pm.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Instructing students in all aspects of the Phlebotomy Technician scope of practice.
  • Evaluating, reporting, and recording student performance and progress.
  • Preparing students in a 72‑hour class to go on to a 40‑hour externship in a lab or hospital.
  • Assisting students to develop an understanding of values, attitudes, and ideals appropriate to the health care profession.
  • Providing a professional role model for students.

Qualifications

  • Current CPT License.
  • Must have 3 years of documented on‑job experience in a CLIA lab within the last 5 years.
  • No teaching experience is required.
  • Must be proficient in all aspects of blood collection, including capillary, syringe, vacutainer, and butterfly methods.
  • Must be comfortable speaking to large groups, multi‑tasking, and critical thinking.
  • Efficient with computers and technology.
  • Organized and detail‑oriented.
