PCS Tester Job at Schneider Electric North America in Lexington

What will you do?

Setup and perform switch testing based on Test and Adjustment Procedure. Test accessories based on description of operation on the wiring diagram. Troubleshoot and correct wiring and functional problems in accordance with the wiring diagram. Communicate problems with the wiring diagram or outline drawing with supervision and Engineering. Upload firmware and download parameters, Control Panel and other electronic components. Set up electronic components and protective relays per vendor manuals. Assure quality and document all work produced.

What skills and capabilities will make you successful?

• Experience in AC/DC circuit analysis
• Experience in electrical testing and troubleshooting
• Know how to use voltmeter, and continuity testing
• Ability to read wiring diagrams
• Wiring Certification preferred
• Some experience with Windows Computer Applications
• Must have good communication skills
• High School Graduate or equivalent related experience
• Previous tester experience preferred
