Job Summary
The Electro‑Mechanical Assembler Tester II is responsible for assembling, inspecting, and performing acceptance testing on complex electro‑mechanical and hydraulic systems. The role works independently from engineering drawings, engineering changes, bills of material, work instructions, test procedures, and production schedules. The position involves disassembly and repair of product in a repair environment at Real‑Time Laboratories, a subsidiary of Elbit Systems of America.
Responsibilities and Tasks
- Perform all required electro‑mechanical or hydraulic assembly, inspection, and test activities in accordance with engineering drawings, schematics, work instructions, and quality standards.
- Conduct acceptance inspections as required to ensure compliance with drawing and contractual requirements.
- Complete assembly‑level acceptance testing in accordance with approved Acceptance Test Procedures or other engineering documents.
- Carry out basic diagnostic and fault isolation tasks.
- Assist Engineering in failure analysis and implementation of corrective action, where required.
- Repair customer‑owned product in a repair environment using failure reports, engineering drawings, or repair manuals.
- Ensure safe handling and disposal of hazardous materials and waste.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent and 1–3 years of experience manufacturing related complex electro‑mechanical or hydraulic sub‑assemblies, major assemblies, and systems.
- Ability to work directly from engineering drawings, schematics, performance specifications, quality standards, and customer repair orders.
- Demonstrated aptitude for independent work with minimal written instructions and direct supervision.
- Basic computer operation skills for access to Engineering and Configuration systems.
- Proficiency in using basic electrical test equipment and mechanical measuring instruments.
- May be required to wear a company‑provided respirator for certain job functions.
