Responsibilities

  • Design and implement scalable analytical frameworks, including statistical, financial, and predictive models, to support strategic decision-making and client profitability assessments.
  • Conduct exploratory and statistical analyses to uncover trends, risks, and opportunities—driving improvements in safety, claims outcomes, and overall client performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to automate reporting workflows, integrate client-owned data, and support innovation across business units.
  • Ensure data quality, consistency, and integration across platforms such as SharePoint and Power BI, enabling accurate and timely reporting.
  • Translate complex, multi-source data into actionable insights, tailored to client-specific goals and industry benchmarks.
  • Customize analytic solutions and reporting templates to meet unique client needs, enabling rapid deployment and scalability across mid-market and enterprise clients.
  • Serve as a technical consultant and project lead, guiding the design, execution, and delivery of automated reporting systems and client-facing analytics tools.
  • Contribute to enterprise-wide modeling initiatives, fostering innovation and engagement within the analytics community through repeatable, high-impact solutions.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience. Major in Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, Economics or Finance preferred
  • Prior years’ experience in data analysis/modeling/warehousing - insurance industry experience preferred
  • Experience with data visualization (Power BI experience a plus)
  • Prior coding (SQL, Python, R) experience is preferred
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Excel - advanced, Word and PowerPoint)
  • Understands data sources, processes, formulas, and output
  • Effective organizational, time-management and multi-tasking skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively present information to all levels of Associates and Clients
  • Intrinsically motivated with the drive to continue learning and developing technical skills
  • Ability to work in local office 2-3 days per week or as needed for businesses
  • Legally able to work in the United States
