Job Summary

This role supports the Supply Chain Management organization by assisting with the collection, organization, maintenance, and analysis of data across various supply chain functions, including procurement, logistics, inventory, and supplier performance. The analyst will help ensure data accuracy and consistency across systems, contribute to the development of reports and dashboards, and support decision‑making through data analysis. This position offers the opportunity to build foundational skills in data governance, reporting, and cross‑functional collaboration, while gaining exposure to key supply‑chain processes and technologies.

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, business, computer science, business analytics, or another relevant analytical field (or equivalent work experience) preferred.
  • Advanced degree is a plus.

Experience

  • 2‑5 years of experience in data analytics, with exposure to machine learning concepts.
  • Strong analytic skills with demonstrated work experience in data mining, coding, and other analytical concepts.
  • Experience in demand forecasting techniques and interactive data visualization development to effectively communicate performance variables, market drivers, and impact on the business.
  • Advanced knowledge in MS Excel and applications within the MS Office Suite.
  • Coding/programming and analytical proficiency in SQL.
  • Experience coding/programming in R and/or Python; SAS is a plus.
  • Advanced data visualization proficiency in PowerBI and/or Tableau.
  • Experience working with Alteryx or similar workflow‑management tools is a plus.
  • Experience working cross‑functionally in a highly matrixed organization.
  • Advanced presentation skill, as well as effective verbal and written communication of complex analytical concepts.
  • Supply‑chain management knowledge/experience a plus.

  • High level of ownership and self‑motivation to deliver high‑quality outcomes.
  • Proficient in financial analysis, internal enterprise analysis, marketplace analysis, and benchmarking.
  • Skilled in extracting, mining, and interpreting data from internal and external systems.
  • Capable of translating complex datasets into actionable insights to support decision‑making.
  • Experience contributing to strategy development and execution.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.
  • Supportive role in project planning and cross‑functional initiatives.
  • Able to present analytical findings clearly to technical and non‑technical audiences.
  • Strong interpersonal skills for engaging with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Possess at least intermediate level skills in strategy development, strategy execution, project management, relationship building and influencing, communication, presentation, team building, cultural awareness, change management, and process improvement.

Key Job Responsibilities

  • Assist in developing and refining statistical and analytical models using structured and unstructured supply‑chain data to support business decisions across Supply Chain Management.
  • Provide analytical support to category teams by preparing relevant datasets and contributing to cost optimization efforts.
  • Help design and manage datasets for use in reporting, trend analysis, and data mining.
  • Identify and consolidate data sources across the organization to improve efficiency and reduce redundancy.
  • Collaborate with category leads to understand business needs, risks, and opportunities within key spend areas.
  • Support the creation and distribution of reports that include competitive analysis and industry benchmarks and best practices.
  • Contribute to process improvement initiatives by providing data‑driven insights and recommendations.
  • Promote a culture of safety by supporting Safety‑First initiatives within the team.
  • Be a change agent by using data support recommendations for process improvement and standardization.

Travel Requirements

This position can require some travel – approximately 25% per year.
