Duties and Responsibilities

  • Consistently demonstrate the Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies and Professional Skills (M.A.P.) as outlined for the role.
  • Unload and unpack items and stock shelves with received inventory.
  • Organize new inventory arriving; ensure inventory is directed to the correct location.
  • Remove and break down empty boxes.
  • Operate machinery and follow all safety procedures.
  • Collaborate with team members and communicate relevant information to the direct leader.
  • Uphold the security and confidentiality of documents and data within the area of responsibility.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience

  • High School Diploma or equivalent (preferred).
  • Prior work experience in a retail environment (preferred).
  • A combination of education and experience providing equivalent knowledge.

Job Qualifications

  • You must be 18 years of age or older to be employed for this role at ALDI.
  • Select products efficiently and accurately.
  • Have the ability to safely and properly operate powered industrial equipment.
  • Give attention to detail and follow instructions.
  • Have effective time management skills; maximize productivity.
  • Possess problem‑solving skills.

Physical Demands

  • Regularly required to stand, bend, reach, push, pull, lift, carry, and walk around the store.
  • Ability to stock merchandise from store receiving to shelving.
  • Ability to place product, weighing up to 45 pounds, on shelving at various heights.

Availability

  • ALDI Stockers must have morning availability to accommodate store operational responsibilities and be available to work morning shifts with start times as early as 5:00 a.m.
