Total Safety is looking for a Warehouse Associate/Delivery Driver to join their safety conscious team. The role involves receiving inbound purchases, stocking items, timely and accurate order fulfillment and timely order processing to support customer satisfaction. The position may require driving a company vehicle for local deliveries.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and expedites shipments
• Determines method and mode of shipment based on customer requirements
• Compares identifying information on outgoing shipments to verify product and counts match outbound shipment documentation
• Maintains the overall cleanliness of the warehouse and equipment
• Follows labeling requirements for each customer
• Operates material handling equipment safely and per production requirements
• Drives a company vehicle
• Performs other related duties as assigned
• Provide quality control for all outbound orders for accuracy
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or GED equivalent
• Operation of Forklift and Cherry Picker
• Ability to read and interpret documents
• Provide quality control for all outbound orders for accuracy
• Ability to pass background and drug/alcohol test
• Previous warehouse experience preferred
• Clean and active driving record; current valid Driver's License
• Time management to complete all regularly scheduled tasks on a timely basis
• Ability to interpret packing slips and fill out bills of lading; familiarity with forms used by major freight carriers
• Familiarity with proper packaging methods and ability to interpret visual packaging requirements
• Mathematical ability to perform basic calculations (rates, ratios, percentages) as needed
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
