Front Desk Receptionist
North Shore Surgery Center in Lincolnwood, IL has an immediate opening for a Receptionist. We believe health and care are inseparable and focus on offering a high quality, service oriented environment for surgical procedures. Our technology supports procedures in the specialty areas of ENT, General, GI, Gynecology, IVF, Ophthalmology, Pain Management, Plastic Surgery, Podiatry, and Urology.
Responsibilities
Under the day-to-day general direction of the Office Manager, the Front Office Receptionist handles and routes all incoming calls, greets patients and their families, and may verify insurance as needed. The role also involves cash collections and proper handling of patient charts.
Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- Competent in the use of basic office equipment including computer, printer, telephone, and fax.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and remain poised and professional when interacting with potentially hostile patients and family members.
- Excellent clerical and organizational skills.
Compensation
Compensation: $19.00 - $25.00
