Job Details

• Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8 AM – 5 PM
• Location: Milpitas, CA (remote not available)
• Immediate availability preferred
• Full‑time; Salary range indicated: $40,000 – $60,000 (varies by location)

Key Responsibilities

• Rack Stack Installation – Install and configure servers, networking gear, and storage units in data‑center racks; ensure proper cabling, labeling, and power management.
• Hardware Troubleshooting – Diagnose and resolve issues in three core areas:
  • Compute (CPU & GPU) – Identify and replace faulty components; manage thermal, power, and performance issues.
  • Networking – Integrate and troubleshoot Ethernet and Infinity Band networks; configure switches and related hardware.
  • Storage Systems – Replace failed drives; troubleshoot SSD‑based setups, RAID configurations, and parallel file systems; understand storage policies and data‑access performance.
• Deploy and maintain high‑performance computing systems, including compute, networking, and storage infrastructure.

Qualifications & Skills

• Minimum 5 + years of hands‑on experience in hardware deployment and troubleshooting.
• Solid understanding of server architecture, network cabling, and protocols, as well as storage architecture.
• Basic experience with Linux commands and operating systems.
• Demonstrated ability to independently identify and fix hardware issues.
• Strong documentation, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
• Willingness and enthusiasm to learn emerging technologies in high‑performance computing.

Additional Requirements

• Must be present on‑site in Milpitas, CA five days a week.
• Immediate availability preferred.
