Location

This position will be onsite at our corporate offices in Allen, Texas (Dallas-Fort Worth area).

Employment Terms

We are seeking a Test Engineer with 5+ years of professional experience in testing embedded products. More experience will be considered for a more senior position. Responsibilities

  • Design and develop testers for power electronic embedded systems.
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams, including hardware engineers, firmware engineers, software engineers and system architects, to define test requirements and test system interfaces.
  • Assist with implementing and maintaining all test automation portions of CI/CD pipelines for all projects.
  • Participate in the full product development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, design, implementation, testing, and documentation.
  • Help develop, automate, and maintain various quality metrics for the company’s products.
  • Debug and troubleshoot software and hardware integration issues, utilizing appropriate tools and techniques.
  • Assist with maintaining documentation for test designs, development processes, and project deliverables.
  • Manage test data, analyze results, and provide actionable feedback to stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's in Computer Engineering or Electrical/Electronics Engineering, or a closely related field from an accredited US University.
  • Proficiency in programming languages like LabVIEW and TestStand.
  • At least 5 years of experience in embedded development or test. Hands‑on experience with HIL platforms.
  • Proficiency in debugging and troubleshooting embedded systems using hardware and software debugging tools.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet project deadlines.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.

Desired Qualifications

  • Knowledge of power electronics and control algorithms.
  • Experience in testing software for real‑time control applications.
  • Understanding of signal conditioning, instrumentation, and data acquisition hardware.
  • Experience with CAD tools for design review.
  • Familiarity with at least one of the following cloud environments: AWS, Azure, GCP.
