Job Responsibilities
- Provide excellent full cycle recruiting within PCG.
- Develop and maintain strong working relationships with PCG employees, vendors, universities, community organizations and other team members to create a partnership that yields success and credibility.
- Travel to universities nationwide to run career fair booths, informational sessions and conduct interviews to recruit top entry‑level construction management talent.
- Develop and maintain a network of contacts to identify and source qualified candidates.
- Administer company internship programming and employee referral program.
- Conduct and oversee recruitment events, including diversity and inclusion‑focused event efforts, university recruitment and internal company hiring events.
- Pre‑screen candidates and collaborate with hiring managers on hiring needs.
- Manage the scheduling and logistics of in‑person and virtual interviews between candidates and hiring managers.
- Maintain accurate and well‑ordered documentation on all candidates, searches, hiring manager’s interactions, and other recruiting activities.
- Stays informed of trends and innovative recruiting techniques in order to be competitive in state‑of‑the‑art recruiting practices.
Basic Requirements
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in full‑cycle recruitment is required.
- Ability to travel during the academic year (September to November & January to April), up to 60% of the year, is required.
- Reliable form of transportation and valid driver’s license.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Communications, Marketing or related discipline, or comparable experience.
- Must be able to manage multiple responsibilities while being extremely adaptable and flexible.
- Excellent project management skills, as well as written and oral communication.
- Excellent presentation skills, in small and large group settings.
- Demonstrated ability to recruit for a broad range of positions.
- Demonstrated ability to operate on a national, multi‑location level.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately.
- Strong self‑initiative and judgement skills to independently make decisions.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
Preferred Requirements
- Experience within a corporate Human Resources function is preferred.
- Experience in a business traveling role is preferred.
- Experience with on‑campus recruitment activities and/or recruitment for entry‑level professional roles is preferred.
- Construction or engineering industry experience a plus.
- Knowledge of OFCCP and EEOC regulations and recruitment policies a plus.
- Local to the Dallas metro area preferred.
