JANITOR (FULL TIME) Job at ESFM® USA in Santa Clara

We have an opening for a full‑time JANITOR position at ESFM, the corporate Integrated Facilities Management (IFM) division of Compass Group USA. Location: Qualcomm, 3195 Kifer Road, Santa Clara, CA 95051. Online applications only.

Job Summary

Keeps buildings clean and orderly. Performs heavy cleaning duties, including cleaning floors, shampooing rugs, washing walls and glass, and removing rubbish.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Collects and disposes of trash following approved procedures and infection control plans.
• Dusts and mops floors following approved procedures.
• Moves equipment and furniture for proper cleaning and re‑places them in correct placement.
• Cleans assigned areas with assigned materials and equipment; sanitizes all surfaces, following the eight‑step cleaning procedure.
• Washes walls, windows, furniture, baseboards, and other items to maintain a clean, safe environment.
• Seeks out and completes required cleaning tasks with initiative.
• Completes all tasks assigned by supervisor.
• Performs tasks in accordance with all federal, state, and county guidelines.
• Strips, scrubs, buffs and refines floors; shampoos carpet.
• Exhibits professionalism with customers, fellow employees, and others.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Previous janitorial experience is preferred but not required.
• Full‑time schedule: Monday through Friday, 5:00 p.m. to 1:30 a.m.; details upon interview.
• Fixed Pay Rate: $21.20 per hour.

Compensation: $21.20 per hour. Position is not currently expired; applications are accepted on an ongoing basis.
