Job Description
Our client is seeking a customer service‑oriented Accounting Assistant 3 to support the Accounts Payable team. The selected individual will report to the manager of Accounts Payable PO Processing and will utilize SAP S/4 HANA, OpenText, and Vendor Invoice Management system along with Outlook and Excel to support Accounts Payable functions in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles, company policies, and regulations. This hybrid position requires the candidate to be on site at the Irving, TX location two days per week.
Responsibilities
- Process PO‑related invoices within SAP S/4 HANA and Vendor Invoice Management System.
- Professionally communicate related accounting policies and procedures.
- Multitask and work independently to meet service delivery agreements.
- Collaborate and maintain a continuous learning mindset.
- Support month‑end requirements.
- Demonstrate analytical and problem‑solving skills to resolve invoice posting issues.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Basic Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent with 4 years of related experience.
- SAP experience.
- Accounts payable customer service experience.
- Intermediate skills in Excel and thorough knowledge of Microsoft Word, Outlook, and other applications.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask and manage time.
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of GAAP, CAS, FAR, and corporate accounting policies and procedures.
- Experience with OpenText Vendor Invoice Management.
- SAP S/4 HANA experience.
- Advanced Excel skills.
