Base pay range

$16.00/hr – $16.00/hr

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Greet guests, take orders and serve promptly and politely.
• Open wine bottles and pour wine, refilling glasses as needed.
• Observe guests' progress and respond in a timely manner to their needs.
• Carry orders on a tray to the table and serve to the correct person.
• Strive to increase guest check through suggestive sales techniques and alternatives.
• Prepare guests checks using InfoGenesis point of sale system, present the guest check, collect payment and make change accurately.
• Add garnishes to drinks.
• Monitor alcohol consumption and behavior of guests.
• Check driver's license or passport to verify age of guests who appear younger than 30 years old.
• Must complete RBS training within first 60 days of employment.
• Clean tables, fire pits, dishes and glassware.
• Set up and maintain a clean work area.
• Perform opening and closing side work duties each shift as assigned.
• Maintain necessary stock of supplies, napkins, silverware and blankets.
• Buff glassware using polishing cloth, follow safety practices.
• Attend monthly meetings and wine seminars.
• Complete closing reports and drop all monetary transactions to the general cashier's office as instructed.
• Respond immediately to a Cash Drop Variance if one occurs.
• Model Pebble Beach Company culture and policies.
• Comply with company safety and health policies and procedures.

Absolutely Required Skills

• Basic drink knowledge.
• Good math and communication skills.
• Previous experience in a similar role.
• Food safety and RBS certifications.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
