Responsibilities
- Modernizing legacy platform infrastructure to enable rapid solution development.
- Providing data and platform services to solution developers across AT&T.
- Developing enterprise‑wide technology architecture standards and monitoring compliance.
- Building internal software core competencies and reviewing outsourcer relationships.
- Developing comprehensive IT asset management and business intelligence capabilities.
- Delivering common baseline security standards and compliance, advanced security protections, innovative threat detection and mitigation, and a single strong identity and authentication.
A successful candidate in this position will be responsible for realizing customer requirements and delivering applications fulfilling those requirements utilizing an AGILE approach.
Required Skills
- Expert level knowledge in writing programs in Python (data retrieval and management; user interface development for HTTPS; leveraging REST endpoints).
- Expert level knowledge in writing programs in Go (data retrieval and management; user interface development for HTTPS; leveraging REST endpoints; multithreaded data retrieval and execution).
- Expert level knowledge of defining and developing API interfaces providing REST, WebSocket, and API Security Authentication (Token Auth, Active Directory).
- Expert level knowledge of data encryption; creation, storage, and retrieval.
- Expert level knowledge of database structures and SQL programs/queries.
- Expert level knowledge of JSON data structures (processing, creating, storing, and inserting into databases).
Preferred Skills
- TCP/IP networking (network application programming, troubleshooting, load balancing, ACLs, firewalls).
- Linux/Unix systems administration (deploying software packages, building software packages, BASH/SHELL scripting, HTTPS server administration).
- ServiceNow integration (knowledge of the ServiceNow Vulnerability Response model and data integration with Tenable.io).
Education / Experience
Bachelor’s degree (BS/BA) in Computer Science or Cybersecurity. 7+ years of related experience. Certification is required in some areas.
Salary
Our Principal Cybersecurity earns between $141,300 and $211,900 USD annually.
