This person will need to be able to come onsite to the office in Chesapeake, VA on a weekly basis, most likely multiple days per week. This role will have a lot of responsibility as FD stands up their new security posturing as a new entity, so seniority and communication are key.
Responsibilities Overview
- The CyberSecurity Architect is responsible for designing and implementing secure architectures across both cloud and on‑premises environments, grounded in comprehensive frameworks and strategic partnerships. The architect will develop compliant security architectures tailored to meet specific client needs, integrate cutting‑edge technologies with business objectives to optimize performance management, and leverage partnerships with leading OEMs to offer adaptable Identity and Access Management (IAM) solutions for diverse environments.
- They will design robust frameworks for Authentication, Authorization, Administration, and Auditing, ensuring a holistic security posture, emphasizing operational efficiency through appropriate security tools and controls, with continuous monitoring and live posture reporting to enhance cloud security and transparency. The architect will excel in creating secure, scalable, and cost‑efficient cloud architectures, facilitating seamless migrations aligned with technical and business goals.
- This resource will conduct comprehensive evaluations of security architectures and validate solutions before deployment, supporting informed decisions and strategic planning. Through collaboration with partners, they will deliver cross‑discipline solutions that address cloud and data security, ensuring a cohesive approach to Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) that aligns with regulatory requirements and business operations.
Qualifications
- Expertise in designing and implementing secure architectures for cloud and on‑premises environments.
- Certifications in frameworks such as TOGAF, SABSA, and ITIL.
- Experience in integrating cutting‑edge technologies with business goals for optimal performance management.
- Proven ability to leverage partnerships with leading OEMs for adaptable IAM solutions.
- Proficiency in providing IAM services, including user lifecycle management, access review and certification, and privileged access management.
- Strong understanding of designing frameworks for Authentication, Authorization, Administration, and Auditing.
- Experience structuring operationally efficient models using appropriate security tools and controls.
- Ability to emphasize continuous monitoring and live posture reporting for enhanced cloud security.
- Skills in creating secure, scalable, and cost‑efficient cloud architectures for seamless migrations.
- Experience in conducting comprehensive evaluations of security architectures.
- Ability to collaborate with partners to deliver cross‑discipline solutions tailored to client requirements.
- Knowledge of Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) practices that align with regulatory requirements and business operations.
- Strong problem‑solving skills and strategic planning capabilities for implementing solutions within existing infrastructures.
