Responsibilities

  • Pick up and deliver automotive parts to customers, ensuring accurate order fulfillment and on‑time service.
  • Inspect orders before and after delivery to verify completeness and correctness, and resolve any discrepancies.
  • Follow dispatcher directions, adhere to assigned routes and time schedules, and use navigation apps to optimize deliveries.
  • Assist with loading and unloading of items, ensuring safe handling and minimal disruption at customer locations.
  • Maintain excellent customer service, addressing inquiries and complaints professionally.
  • Abide by all transportation laws and uphold a clean driving record.
  • Accept payments, prepare and reconcile invoices, and maintain accurate delivery documentation.
  • Conduct daily vehicle maintenance checks and report issues to management.
  • Support additional store or warehouse duties, such as stocking and parts pulling, as needed.
  • Promote and maintain workplace safety standards.
  • Secure and transfer cash or other valuable assets during deliveries.

Qualifications

  • Current, valid driver’s license and automotive insurance.
  • Ability to meet company insurance requirements; drivers must be 21 years old or older.
  • Physical stamina to lift, move, push and pull up to 50 pounds; collision drivers must lift up to 75 pounds.
  • Proficiency with a tablet or mobile device for navigation, route optimization, and customer interface.
  • Strong verbal communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.
  • Flexible schedule with willingness to work overtime when needed.
  • Previous delivery driving experience is a plus.
  • All of the above requirements must be met for eligibility to drive for Parts Authority.
