Purpose
In this role, you will lead the entire recruitment process and closely partner with HR, Business and Recruiting colleagues to identify, qualify, and attract the best talent for adidas. As the Recruiting Partner, you will focus on recruitment mandates for the specified business and/or function.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the entire recruitment process including requisition approval, hiring manager briefing, job advertising, candidate sourcing, application review, candidate screening, interview strategy, and offer process; continuously work with hiring teams to identify opportunities to improve the process.
- Leverage relevant advertising resources and apply other candidate marketing strategies to create local, regional and global awareness to attract qualified applications for key roles.
- Leverage candidate databases and other sourcing channels to identify prospective candidates, create awareness and invite them to apply for open positions, including cold calling prospects.
- Screen resumes and conduct initial phone screens; assess qualifications and suitability for role; conduct in‑depth interviews evaluating skills, experience and cultural fit.
- Build, engage and maintain pre‑qualified and prospective candidate pools of strong former and new candidates within the functional area.
- Partner with recruiting and sourcing colleagues to share candidates and jobs, encouraging a collaborative hiring process.
- Continuously identify new candidate pools and leverage existing resources and channels (social media, job boards, referrals, networking) to proactively find passive candidates.
- Provide guidance to hiring teams throughout the process and frequently update them on status.
- Advocate for and drive a diverse and inclusive recruitment strategy.
- Conduct weekly check‑ins with active candidates and hiring managers throughout the entire process.
- Own responsibility for candidate and hiring manager experience results and set standards to ensure quality performance.
- Effective use of adidas brand, benefits, compensation strategies, and programs to market adidas as an Employer of Choice.
- Lead additional recruitment initiatives as needed.
- Plan and participate in strategic planning meetings with functional and market leadership to build effective recruitment activities for positions within area of responsibility.
- Conduct quarterly review meetings with business leaders to provide an overview of recruiting achievements and opportunities for improvement.
- Utilize recruitment systems effectively, documenting key actions, recommending improvements, and ensuring accurate reporting.
- Apply and adapt broader talent acquisition strategies (employer branding, internal recruiting, diversity, etc.) within the designated function or market.
- Act as a key point of contact to support the implementation of global initiatives within the designated function or market.

Key Measure of Success
- Speed of hire: Time to verbal offer accepted 50 days; no more than 10% of roles open for >90 days.
- Workload: Oversee and manage an average workload of 25 requisitions at a time.
- Quality:
- New hire turnover lower than all employee turnover.
- Internal vs external hire ratio – target minimum 45% internal hires.
- Diversity of hire – >40% of placements across all levels gender diverse; 95% of roles will have a diverse slate and diverse interview panel.
- Candidate experience – incremental improvement measured bi‑annually.
- Hiring manager experience – incremental improvement measured bi‑annually.
- Interview to offer ratio / offer acceptance rate – HM interview vs offer ratio 5:1.
- Sourcing strategy – for each search on M4 level and above, 20 proactive outreaches to candidates with conversion rate KPI follow.
What We Are Looking For
Recruiting Partners play a critical role in the execution of the core HR functions at adidas, supporting a single business unit or region and extending across the organization. They are functional experts with subject‑matter expertise, strong ownership, and the ability to blend functional knowledge with a comprehensive view of the bigger picture.
Ideal Experience
- Minimum 4‑6 years experience in international/global Design recruiting, leading local, international and global mandates for all levels through a broad range of sourcing channels.
- Design industry experience – footwear, apparel and/or retail.
- Experience working in a large, international/global matrix company.
- Demonstrated track record of driving end‑to‑end recruitment mandates (sourcing, assessing, hiring in volume roles) and global initiatives (proactive recruiting, internal recruiting, diversity).
- Experience in offer negotiation, understanding local legislation and employment market/trends.
- International experience – projects in multiple geographies.
- Knowledgeable about diversity & inclusion from a talent acquisition perspective.
- Minimum BA degree in HR, Business or related studies.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
