SHIFT INVENTORY ASSOCIATE IN BURLINGTON, NC!

PAY: $18-20/HR.

SHIFT: 7 AM – 3:30 PM MONDAY – FRIDAY

JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Implement inventory management procedures to ensure accurate tracking and control of

materials and finished products.

• Maintain accurate inventory levels to meet production schedules, customer orders, and

customized packaging requirements.

• Monitor inventory transactions, including receipts, transfers, adjustments, and

returns, in the ERP system.

• Conduct regular physical inventory counts and cycle counts to verify stock accuracy.

• Coordinate with the production team to forecast inventory needs based on open customer

orders.

• Collaborate with the purchasing department to manage order placements, delivery schedules,

and cost control initiatives.

• Ensure proper storage and labeling of materials, including sheet metal, CNC parts,

hardware, and finished goods, to facilitate efficient workflow and quality

control.

• Work withthe quality assurance team to identify and address any discrepancies or quality

issues with incoming or stored materials.

• Analyze inventory trends and propose improvements to reduce handling and transportation

costs.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in inventory management, preferably in a precision machine shop,

metal fabrication shop, or other manufacturing environment.

• Strong knowledge of inventory control principles, stock management, and ERP systems.

• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Ability to work collaboratively with production, supply chain, and quality assurance

teams.

• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to implement effective inventory

solutions.

• Proficiency in using inventory management software.

• Knowledge of CNC machining, sheet metal fabrication, or product finishing services is a plus

• Strong math skills required.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.
