SHIFT SNA - Shift 2 (10%) A BRIEF OVERVIEW The Operations Technician I, Manual Production performs essential operations such as straightening, buffing, and grinding on parts to meet required dimensional specifications. WHAT YOU WILL DO Complete all necessary training.

Safely transport products using hand trucks, pallet jacks, carts, and tables.

Maintain a clean and organized work area, including tools and equipment.

Report faulty equipment, defective materials, and unusual conditions to the department Supervisor or Lead.

Follow established safety rules and regulations diligently.

Support Lean Manufacturing and EHS initiatives.

Inspect work dimensionally using appropriate tools like calipers, comparators, and surface plates as needed.

Perform weekly housekeeping tasks as per the 5S schedule.

Follow work orders to perform operations on various parts and products.

Reinforce safety expectations and report any issues to the Supervisor.

Adhere to all procedures and comply with Quality Management System (QMS) standards.

EDUCATION QUALIFICATIONS High School Diploma or equivalent (preferred).

EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS Manufacturing experience is preferred.

No prior work experience is necessary (preferred).

KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS THAT ENABLE SUCCESS Working experience with Quality Inspection Metrology Tools.

Familiarity with Standard Operating Procedures.

Basic knowledge of Quality Management principles.

Basic mathematical ability.

Working experience in Manufacturing Safety.

Basic knowledge of Active Learning principles.

Working experience in Information Capture.

Extensive experience in Hand Dexterity.

Working experience in Time Management.

Basic knowledge in Data Entry.

Basic communication skills.

Basic knowledge of Blueprint Reading.

Working experience in Accuracy and Attention to Detail.

Working experience in Problem Solving.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS Occasionally remain in a stationary position.

Frequently move around the building.

Frequently handle and move equipment around the building.

Occasionally ascend/descend stairs or ladders.

Frequently handle, adjust, inspect, and position various items and equipment.

WORKING CONDITIONS Frequently exposed to noise.

PAY RATE This position has a pay range of $16.88 - $20.00 per hour, depending on responsibility complexity.
