Location: 8525 Vulcan St, St. Louis, MO 63111 Position Overview The Warehouse Associate plays a critical role in daily warehouse operations, acting as a hybrid receiver, order filler, and front counter representative. This position is responsible for receiving and inspecting inbound shipments, accurately picking and preparing outbound orders, assisting walk-in customers, and maintaining an organized and efficient warehouse environment. Key Responsibilities Pick and fulfill all types of customer and internal orders Wrap pallets and prepare outbound orders for shipment or delivery Receive and sign for incoming shipments; coordinate with carriers and drivers Unload packages, inspect contents, and report any damages or discrepancies Compare received shipments to purchase orders, invoices, and packing lists Record item details and update inventory records accordingly Label, sort, and store incoming inventory in designated warehouse locations Maintain stock accuracy through timely updates in the inventory management system Provide service to walk-in customers at the front counter, including parts lookup and transaction support Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment in accordance with safety guidelines Complete daily assignments and tasks as directed by the Warehouse Manager Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment Follow all Company safety protocols and operational procedures Qualifications & Experience High school diploma or equivalent required Minimum 1-2 years of warehouse or related experience preferred Forklift certification or willingness to obtain upon hire Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment Effective verbal and written communication skills Customer service experience is a plus Must be able to successfully complete a background check, drug screening, and any other required pre-employment screenings Work Schedule This is a full-time hourly position with a typical schedule of typically Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 4:30 PM, and approximately 45 hours per week, depending on business and customer needs. Additional hours may be required during peak periods. The position is non-exempt, and all overtime is compensated in accordance with applicable state and federal laws. Work Environment & Physical Requirements Regularly works in a warehouse environment with exposure to varying temperatures Frequently lifts, carries, pulls, or pushes materials and boxes Routinely operates forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment May need to pick up special orders from local vendors and deliver to the customer, also help take delivery trucks on occasion, to be serviced at mechanic shops May be required to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) as appropriate Must be able to walk, stand, bend, stoop, and reach throughout the shift Reasonable accommodations may be made to support individuals with disabilities in performing essential job functions Benefits The Company offers a comprehensive benefits package designed to support the health, financial security, and overall well-being of our employees.
