Job Title: Production Planner
Duration: 6 Months with possible extension/ Conversion
Location: West Chester, OH 45069
Schedule: 7 AM-3PM (3 days on-site and 2 from Home) * They will be on-site during training all 5 days*
Summary:
Cross-functional team communication is a must, working with all business partners. The planner will be assigned to a Production/ Plant Supervisor and will also lead 2 Production Meetings a week.
Experience working within an MRP/ERP system. SAP but not required. Technology can be trained; Excel is a must.
Critical and analytical skills used daily.
Daily tasks include, but not limited to:
Managing production schedules for multiple areas and product groups.
Working with Purchasing team to understand material lead times.
Collaborate with the warehouse team for timing and execution of picking materials to jobs.
Notifying customers when there are delays in production.
Managing delivery dates in SAP.
Working in case ques to communicate job status’ related to special requests.
Running various production meetings to communicate customer needs and internal schedules.
Planning experience in a manufacturing facility.
Systems experience. i.e. -SAP, Oracle, or comparable ERP/MRP.
Education:
Assoc. Degree but years of equivalent exp is accepted
