Non-Exempt JOB SUMMARY:
Join our team to ensure a fresh and well-stocked dairy section, maintain pricing accuracy, and provide excellent customer service. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Assist in unloading merchandise for the dairy department. Transport stock to designated storage areas efficiently. Open cartons and accurately price items as needed. Ensure store shelves are fully stocked in alignment with tag allocations. Help in building attractive store displays. Rotate perishable merchandise and remove out-of-code products as required. Monitor and control levels of damaged goods. Present assigned sections neatly before concluding your scheduled shift. Adhere to established policies and procedures for the department. Provide a warm greeting to customers entering the store, remaining observant to their needs. Maintain a neat and professional appearance in line with the company’s dress code. Follow all company policies as outlined in the Employee Handbook. SUPPLEMENTAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Assist with maintenance of pricing and protection programs. Contribute to the housekeeping of sales floors and backroom areas. MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED: Effective reading and writing skills for accurate merchandise tagging and inventory management. Ability to unload, transport, and organize merchandise in designated areas. Capable of lifting up to seventy (70) pounds at least forty percent (40%) of the time. Aptitude for following written and verbal instructions with attention to detail.
