Decatur Blvd, Suite C Department: Fulfillment Team Report: Reports to DCLV General Manager Wage: $21.75/hour About Us Dandelion Chocolate is a bean-to-bar chocolate factory in San Francisco’s Mission District. We make chocolate from only two ingredients — cocoa beans and cane sugar — and travel to origins as often as we can to build good, trusting relationships with the producers who grow and ferment cacao beans. Today, we’re seeking a Seasonal Fulfillment Associate to support our team with shipping out seasonal chocolate products. You will help us ensure that products are packaged up and shipped out in the best condition possible for our guests. About the Job In this role, you will help us meet the needs of our highly seasonal business. Your role will focus on fulfillment out of our commissary kitchen. Your morning might begin by looking through all of the orders that have been placed since the prior day and prioritizing any special orders. You then begin carefully boxing up products into boxes according to the packing slips, taping them, and labeling them with care so that they are ready for FedEx pickup on time. At the end of the day, you take a look through the orders for the next day before tidying up your workstation so that you can hit the ground running the next morning. The starting hourly wage is $20.50/hour. About You Our ideal candidate is organized and enjoys working solo or with a small team to get a large volume of chocolate treats packaged and shipped with care. Multitasking and prioritizing come easily, from organizing an incoming shipment of supplies to getting 100 cakes packaged with a gift note. You are also comfortable working solo and can just as easily pop in your headphones and pack up a mountain of orders. Responsibilities Fulfillment: Working from our commissary kitchen, assist with packaging and shipping of baked goods/ bakery items and retail chocolate products Organization and inventory: Maintain an organized and clean workspace. Process incoming goods and consolidate products and supplies. Track inventory of products and supplies and let the team know if we are running low on important supplies. Safety: You work with safety as a priority and follow department and company safety standards. Team Player: Anticipate the needs of your coworkers by coming to work ready to perform for peak business hours. Be timely, dress professionally, and be ready to work through your shift. Your team wants to work with you again and again! Other tasks as necessary Requirements Availability: Monday-Friday from 9am-5 pm, available early November through January 11th. Language Skills: You can read, analyze, and interpret policy and procedure manuals, maintenance instructions, and other documents. Conversational English is required. The ability to speak a second language is a plus! Physical Demands: This position requires that you be moving on your feet and working with your hands for most of the shift and occasionally lifting up to 50-pound objects. Tech skills: Ability to learn new tools such as ShipStation and Google Drive. A passion for chocolate always helps!
