CCS Construction Staffing is hiring experienced Pipe Fitters and Pipe Welders for a long-term dry dock ship build in Panama City Beach, FL. This high-profile project offers paid travel, free housing, and steady full-time hours for qualified tradesmen with proven experience in shipyard, industrial, or marine environments.

Job Overview:

We’re seeking skilled tradesmen who take pride in precision, safety, and teamwork. Candidates will be responsible for fitting, fabricating, and welding piping systems on a large-scale ship build. Work includes reading and interpreting blueprints, ISO drawings, and schematics; performing high-quality fits and welds; and maintaining compliance with strict quality and safety standards.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Pipe Fitters: Minimum 4 years of experience installing, fabricating, and modifying carbon steel, stainless steel, or copper-nickel piping systems. Skilled in cutting, beveling, and prepping pipe; aligning for tack/weld operations; and performing pressure testing.
• Pipe Welders: Minimum 3 years of experience welding in shipyard, industrial, or marine environments. Must be able to pass a standard weld test (MMA, TIG, CW, or similar); certification preferred but not required. Proficient in Stick, TIG, CW, and flux core welding processes.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, weld symbols, and ISO drawings.
• Strong safety awareness, attention to detail, and ability to work in confined spaces or elevated areas.
• Ship fitting or combined pipe fitting/welding experience is a plus.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. and pass a drug test and background screening.

Project & Travel Details:

• Long-term project (12–15 months) with consistent full-time hours.
• All accommodations and living arrangements provided at no cost.
• Paid travel to and from the job site (arranged in advance).
• Daily drug testing performed on-site.
• Preference for candidates open to long-term or future full-time opportunities after project completion.
