MassMutual New Mexico is hiring a recruiter. The ideal candidate will be comfortable meeting new people frequently and have an ability to determine a candidate's potential through listening and asking questions. They should have excellent organizational skills in order to build and maintain a pipeline of prospective candidates. Additionally, they should be committed to both meeting and exceeding assigned quotas.
About the Role
This role with the firm is truly a highly impactful part of the leadership team assisting with the growth of the firm to develop resources and the leadership to achieve its goals. This position works alongside managers and general agent(s) to perform recruiting activities. You will be responsible for leading and executing key aspects of full‑cycle recruitment through a combination of methods that include direct sourcing, prospecting, network marketing, behavioral interviewing, selecting and retaining top talent. In addition, working closely with management to direct and manage the onboarding of new agents as well as managing a recruiting department to meet the firm’s objectives and goals.
Responsibilities
Maintain and develop pipeline of eligible candidates for future open positions
Conduct interviews via phone or in‑person
Qualify candidates based on interview feedback and resume reviews
Serve as contact person for questions from candidates
Meet weekly quotas related to calls and emails
Be primary recruiter and provide oversight and management of all recruiting activities
Manage and keep up to date the recruiting pipeline
Track candidates from sourcing to selection
Oversee the contracting and licensing process
Innovate new sourcing techniques
Manage and oversee additional recruiting resources such as interns and 3rd parties
Oversee and implement improved technology for tracking and communication touchpoints
Align leadership team members to candidates for compatibility and success
Improve agent material and onboarding process
Manage the pipeline through the onboarding process
Communicate starting date and execute onboarding process and 5‑week launch
Manage the 1st week calendar of new agents
Ensure new agents execute required tasks to secure career sampling contract
Coordinate agency resources for new agents based on experience
Team up with sales manager for the success of new agents
Qualifications
