Overview
Staffing Solutions Organization (SSO) is seeking highly motivated and dependable
Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) Case Reviewers
to support the Massachusetts Department of Transitional Assistance (MA DTA) for a 3 to 9-month project. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience conducting SNAP eligibility and quality assurance (QA) processes and a deep understanding of SNAP policy, quality control (QC), and error rate analysis. This role plays a key part in ensuring program integrity and continuous improvement of SNAP operations.
Key Responsibilities
Review a daily queue of assigned cases using a standardized Case Review Tool.
Apply current SNAP policy to determine case accuracy and compliance.
Navigate eligibility systems and electronic case files to research and verify information.
Document findings and communicate results clearly with eligibility staff and supervisors.
Identify root causes of errors and provide feedback for corrective actions.
Contribute to process improvement initiatives and overall quality management efforts.
Required Knowledge and Skills
Strong understanding of
SNAP eligibility policy
and quality assurance procedures.
Familiarity with
SNAP Quality Control
processes and error rate calculations.
Excellent
communication skills
, both written and verbal.
Proficiency with
Microsoft Office Suite
(Word, Excel, Outlook).
Highly detail-oriented, organized, and self-motivated.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Strong time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines.
Commitment to confidentiality and accuracy in all work.
Adaptable and able to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
Minimum Qualifications
Minimum of
2+ years
of experience supervising eligibility staff, conducting SNAP eligibility determinations, and/or performing SNAP quality assurance reviews.
Prior experience in
consulting or training
strongly preferred.
High school diploma or equivalent
required; some college coursework preferred.
Must be authorized to work in the US.
Must be at least
18 years of age
.
Must pass a
background check
prior to employment.
Reliable access to a
telephone, Wi-Fi, and electronic equipment
.
Experience using
BEACON
(Massachusetts eligibility system) preferred.
Ability to speak, read, and write English clearly and professionally.

Compensation for roles at Staffing Solutions Organization LLC (SSO) varies depending on a wide array of factors including, but not limited to, the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. As required by applicable law, SSO provides a reasonable range of compensation for this role. In addition, SSO provides a range of benefits for this role.
