As part of their strategic growth in the
Pacific Northwest , the firm is seeking a
Specialty Quality Control / MEP professional
with deep technical expertise to support field operations and ensure the success of specialized, high-specification construction projects.
About the Position
The
Specialty Quality Control / MEP
professional will play a vital, field-based role in ensuring quality, compliance, and technical excellence across projects that require advanced construction methods and strict process standards.
This position is ideal for someone with experience in
cGMP, Nuclear, Clean Room, Tool Install, or other specialized environments
who understands the unique requirements of these sectors and can drive precision and accountability in project execution.
Key Responsibilities:
Serve as the on-site technical expert for specialty systems and processes within complex construction environments.
Implement and manage project-specific
quality control programs , ensuring all work meets or exceeds applicable standards and client requirements.
Collaborate with project management, field supervision, and client teams to ensure compliance with highly regulated environments (e.g., FDA, DOE, or DOD standards).
Oversee inspection, testing, documentation, and commissioning of MEP and specialty systems.
Identify and mitigate quality or process issues before they impact cost, schedule, or performance.
Support subcontractor coordination and verify installation procedures align with project specifications and codes.
Provide field leadership, technical guidance, and continuous improvement feedback throughout project delivery.
Requirements
7+ years of relevant experience in quality control, MEP systems, or technical construction management.
Background in one or more of the following specialized sectors:
Power Plant / Nuclear Energy
– experience with nuclear-grade construction, safety, or QA/QC programs (nuclear certifications a strong plus).
cGMP, Semiconductor, or Aerospace (Clean Room) Manufacturing
– experience in clean manufacturing environments or tool install projects.
Industrial / Non-Clean Room Manufacturing
– experience with complex process systems and heavy infrastructure.
Data Center / Mission Critical
– familiarity with critical MEP system commissioning and validation.
Government – experience working under regulated environments or on secured facilities.
Strong understanding of
specialty construction processes , MEP integration, and system commissioning.
Relevant certifications (such as
ASQ, NQA-1, or cGMP QA/QC ) highly desirable.
Excellent attention to detail, documentation, and communication skills.
Comfortable working primarily
in the field
or from project sites within the Pacific Northwest.
